Workshop for the exchange of experiences in police reform in Paraguay

The main objective of this activity is to share the Uruguayan experience of police reform and modernization, strengthen the action of Latin American law enforcement agencies and forces in the fight against transnational organized crime and modernize and standardize technical and operational procedures.

Two experts from Uruguay, and high-level representatives of the Ministry of the Interior and the National Police of Paraguay, will meet with the relevant authorities to present the Uruguayan experience of reform and modernization of the National Police and the Republican Guard of Uruguay. The activity is focused on Paraguayan authorities with command and decision making capacity that can promote an effective police reform and modernization in the country.
