International Seminar on Prison Systems and Human Rights

It is an activity within the framework of the Penitentiary Academies Network (RAP).

The objectives are:

To continue with the round of presentations by PAR participants, with a focus on their Plan to dignify detention centers in line with the recommendations of the Ministry of Interior and the National Rehabilitation Institute.
Train personnel from all countries participating in the PAR on human rights with an emphasis on the rehabilitation of persons deprived of their liberty (security issues will be addressed, as well as rehabilitation and vulnerable publics, with a particular focus on gender).
Exchange problems and practices and deepen different themes with an international approach.

It will be approached with synchronous virtual lectures with regular rhythm, but leaving the participants the time to complete it with formative videos, readings, forums and self-managed virtual exercises, to take into account the workload as the pandemic context.
