IDEAL: the coordination instrument for tackling organised crime

IDEAL (Instrument for Documenting and Assessing the Threat of Transnational Organised Crime in Latin America) raises awareness of and assesses current criminal threats in Latin America, such as drug and human trafficking. The initiative is committed to carrying out a multidimensional, regional and joint approach to these phenomena, contributing to a better understanding of the reality of organised transnational crime in the Latin American region.
