Online seminar: Young people in the penitentiary systems

Second online seminar of the cycle “Vulnerable publics” of the Prison Academy Network dedicated to the issue of the management and treatment of young people in prison systems.

Participants will include :

UNOPS will present its socio-educational project for adolescents in Brazil and detail the methodology developed.

Bolivia will describe the model of the Qalauma Youth Rehabilitation Centre.

The president of INISA (Uruguay), will share her work on professionalisation and positioning in the specificity of the management of adolescents in conflict with criminal law.
The director of the Penitentiary Training School of Costa Rica and the director of the Juvenile Penal Level will present their experience in terms of management and intervention and accompaniment of officials.
