Signing of the CTI onAlternative Measures and Penitentiary Intelligence in Paraguay

The PAcCTO has promoted the creation of a CTI (Inter-Institutional Technical Committee) for Alternative Measures in Paraguay and another for Prison Intelligence.

They will be made official on 2 December at an event to be attended by the Minister of Justice, senior officials from the Public Prosecutor’s Office, the Supreme Court of Justice, the Ombudsman’s Office and the European Union delegation in Paraguay. It will be a hybrid event with online connections from the EL PAcCTO team.

The CTIs will allow for greater coordination between security and justice institutions in charge of fighting organised crime
