Meeting of the working group on air and maritime narcotics trafficking routes
In the year 2021, in October, the “International workshop on new cocaine routes” was held, with the main objective of strengthening the exchange of information and intelligence on transnational criminal groups and new trafficking routes for cocaine and other drugs.
During this activity to be held in March, we will be able to work on having a global vision of cocaine trafficking from the countries of production (LA), transit (LA, USA, Africa) and consumption (USA); in addition to strengthening international operational cooperation and sharing best practices.
It is expected to develop strategies for the fluid and rapid exchange of information between operational services, support the development of actions to combat drug trafficking, define priorities, strategic and operational work for 2022/2023 to strengthen the fight against drug trafficking between Latin America and the European Union.
Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, Mexico, Paraguay, Peru and Uruguay will be participating for Latin America; Spain, France, Italy and Portugal will be present for Europe.
