Latin America / Trafficking in Human Beings
Workshop on human trafficking
Since the beginning of 2018, PAcCTO has organized national and multi-country actions to strengthen the fight against human trafficking and smuggling. In this sense, to consolidate the actions carried out and strengthen coordination and information exchange between countries, a network of police specialized in human trafficking was formally created in 2021: the LYNX Network coordinated by the Federal Police of Brazil.
In addition, the PAcCTO also collaborates on this issue with the AIAMP through the network specialized in trafficking crimes.
