Bi-regional conference on the development of the use of alternative measures to deprivation of liberty

A total of 150 specialists from more than 30 countries in Latin America and the Caribbean met to analyse sentencing systems and alternatives to deprivation of liberty at a bi-regional conference on alternative measures to prison. The event was held in Montevideo and was organised by three European Union regional cooperation programmes (COPOLAD Ii, EL PAcCTO and EUROsociAL+)
